What is "Face Of The Day"?

I don't wear makeup on a daily basis, probably two/ three times a week. So when I do wear makeup, I thought it would be fun to share with you the products I used and what I did on that day.

These products that I will mention work for me and hopefully either inspire you go through your stash, buy that product that you are on the fence about or you are just curious on how to create the look.

Don't feel pressured that you need these products to achieve this makeup look or any makeup looks on my blog, I am sure that you might have something similar in your collection to get these Faces Of The Day.

This year we were invited for a family BBQ at a nearby park with the scenic view of Manhattan. I decided to dress in the traditional 4th of July festive colors.

I knew that I wanted to be very comfy with my outfit and make sure that my makeup would last, since it was stifling 90 degrees outside.

I have combo to oily skin throughout the year depending which season it is. In the summer, I definitely have oily skin and use products accordingly.

Since I wasn't going to be able to touch up throughout the day, I wanted to keep my makeup fresh looking so it would wear nicely as time passed.
