After seeing the trailer for Girls Trip, I knew I wanted to have a girl's night with my mom. She is truly my best friend and I love spending time with her. We were going to have the perfect combo, movie & happy hour!

I wanted to create a look that was playful and sexy to boost my confidence for the night ahead. I also took inspiration from my shirt to guide me in the tones I would use.

Before the movie started, it felt like the whole movie theater was at a huge slumber party. It seemed as though everyone knew each other because as people arrived another woman yelled, "Hey girl, didn't know you were coming to see this too".

And come to find out we knew the people who sat next to us as well, which was funny.

The movie was fantastic! It captured exactly what women go through with their friends as time passes and extremely hilarious.

Once the movie was done, it sparked us to have an amazing time at Chili's Grill & Bar for happy hour. Two Long Island Ice Teas later and great conversation, it was a successful night.
