Fall Traditions

Every year my family loves to go pumpkin picking especially in October. This tradition started when we were little kids since my younger sister's birthday is in the middle of October. We have always had amazing memories celebrating her birthday every year at a different farm like going on bumpy hayrides, getting scared in haunted houses and hunting for the perfect pumpkins. My mom constantly found the best farms that allowed us to pick a massive pumpkin right off the vine. As my sister and I got older, we decided to continue the tradition to go to different farms in honor of her birthday with the family.

This year we decided to go back to Riamede Farm in Chester, NJ. The farm has 68 acres of apple picking, pumpkin picking, sunflower picking, tomato picking and so much more! I was excited to go sunflower picking this year since this was a new addition to the farm from the last time we visited. I picked three bright sunflowers since the number three has great meaning in my marriage. My highlight of the day was feeling as though we were away in Tuscany picking gorgeous sunflowers.

This year going to the farm, I knew I wanted my makeup to last all day and have a fresh glow to the skin. Since we were going to a farm, I doubted that I would touch up my makeup or even be able look in mirror all day. I used the same tips and tricks that I have discussed before in my blog during those hot, summer days and applied it to a fall, fun filled pumpkin picking day!
